Introducing the Handcuff Case Mold

This mold is just like the old wooden box molds you may have seen being used to mold flatback holsters and cases.  To use this mold you just take your piece of leather (7-8oz) and get it nice and wet.  Once it is wet, align the top of your leather with the top of the large buck and use your fingers and then the large buck to press the leather into the mold.  Once your large buck is in place take the rectangular buck and stick it in sticking up out of the mold so that everything is pressed in place.  Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and take them out and let your leather dry over the large buck to maintain its shape.

This mold is made with polyurethane that is similar in durability and hardness to blueguns.  This gives it immense strength and it will be very difficult to break or destroy in your shop.  We even got a video of Dusty Harvey driving a truck over one.

THE LEATHER WILL NOT DRY OUT IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE IT.  THIS IS NOT WOOD THAT CAN SOAK UP AND DRY OUT, IT IS PLASTIC.
